Before I saw your title I thought 'she is more Borg than the Borg' ! A marvellous creation - she is somehow sexy at the same time as being . . . well . . . assimilated.

Sorry , she is Ness in the real world , a barmaid who Is my only model.

Bit shy to ask anyone else to pose.

We worked here on the story as well ! And that was the idea behind this transition.

Love the texture and the feel of the edges of her clothing and the background. See alot of sci-fi movie influences here. Excellent work, often fancied doing something like this myself, inspirational. My Alice could be in for a left handed makeover. Loads to learn from this. Or copy.

Darker than dark. The look of resigned reproach terrifies as the painted world of the canvas becomes a new reality where good thing just don't happen.
Congrats on the HC, it's good to see something this far out get noticed.

Fantastic piece of work Dave, well done on HC.
Not only is the PS work done superbly, knowing to some degree about the depths you have gone to, in order to achieve the right tonality in each aspect of the shot, but also, what a well angled and directed portrait you have taken to start with.
So inspired...

Simply these lyrics by Snow Patrol , Inspired it.

"I've got this feeling that there's something that I missed
(I could do most anything to you...)
Don't you breathe
Something happened, that I never understood
You can't leave
Every second, dripping off my fingertips
Wage your war
Another soldier, says he's not afraid to die
Well I am scared
In slow motion, the blast is beautiful
Doors slam shut
A clock is ticking, but it's hidden far away
Safe and sound"

More amazing stuff Dave. I always thought the Borg were the best thing in Star Trek, terrifyingly invincible. The cold logic of the ant-hill.
Wonderful work.

This is a stand out. I was drawn also to the Title, - working for a large corporation we small group of non conformists refer to the corporation as the Borg, and try to avoid assimilation, - but as they say, resistance is futile,- but fun.

I am simply blown away (and scared) by your portfolio. On a first viewing I can't process the words to describe the feelings that are invoked... Amazing stuff and will be following the story. Laurence2010
