    Im not too good with portraiture, but I can give my opinion. For me, the crop needs to be tighter at the top. There is a little shadow on her right eye... try to avoid shadows on the eye area (I like good strong eye contact in a portrait). Also, if you shoot outdoors, like with this one, just shoot with the sun behind you to illuminate the subject. If you are shooting into the sin, then use a flash to fill in.

    Hope this helps... I dont do portraiture, but know what I like to look at Smile

    PS. Your wife is naturally very pretty... unlike a lot of these made-up models. Smile

    Your portfolio is incredible! I find it really difficult to get my head around the reasons for you only having 2 Editors Choice photos. The four central images in your portfolio all deserve the EC tag. The shot of the tree in the light is one of the best images I have EVER seen... award winning in every sense of the phrase!
