Go back with some filters and return with a great shot rather than just a good one. And make sure you get the posts vertical.

P.S. there's nothing to stop you manually holding a filter over a point and shoot camera's lens rather than setting up an slr with all its adapters, brackets and kitchen sinks Smile

Thanks jondf, I now have an slr... I didnt at the time. I got into photography back in Jan this year, 2007.... bought my first SLR 3 months ago.

Will take all comments on board as usual, but this was taken just 4 and a half months after I bought my first ever camera! Quite happy with it Smile

This is a lovely, simple, shot that works very well.

Just a couple of thoughts though - have you thought of turning it into B&W, also try cropping half the sky out so that the jetty isn't in the middle of the picture.
