FA Cup

Recently did a guided tour of the new Wembley Stadium. Climbed the steps to the royal box and was met with this. It's the offical FA Cup, used up until 1993 (different, bogstandard plinth)... solid silver, the whole hog. Enjoyed it despite crap weather... and first time I had got out with the camera since before Xmas, can you believe?!?!?!

Bit of glare from the flash, but what can you do? Needed flash in those conditions, no tripod and couldnt even reposition it.

Still I'm quite pleased with this considering...

The vibrant colors make this image great. I love the silver against the red bg. Wouldn't it be great if one could move things around how you like them. Oh, well..still a good shot.

Lol.... Katy I'll be hoping United get past Arsenal first! Drewd... I was at London Rd pre-season for the United friendly. Darren Fergsuon doing well with your boys there though.

Great opportunity for a shot.
I think you can make the image stronger if you crop out the sky if you wished.

we have a few cameras in common Smile and this is amazing. i have never seen a close up of the FA cup before. love it. and i love watching football, so this has definitely got my vote Smile
