It's all in the physical...

Slowed the shutter speed down a little intentionally. Once the animals woke and started to interact briefly I felt the urge to try and portray some of their power by taking 'less-sharp' blurred images as they made contact.

I think it works... but it's a new experiment for me and would be grateful of all comments whether positive or not. Advice on improving always gratefully received and taken on board.

I can't help much Ryan..I know how to blurr the background and keep the subject focus but not how you did it.. However it is still a great capture... Someone with more skill will have to help sorry..

Well he doesn't look a happy kitty anyway! It was a good try. I was playing about with my shutter speeds all over the place this weekend, but with water I had the chance to just do it over and over till I got what I wanted!

I think that the blur works with this picture after all you say that the one lion has just woken up and aren't we all a little blurry when we wake up! Also you can just imagine the male lion saying
"OK,OK, I'll do the washing up in a minuet!" Smile

lol damn shame about the blurr but really well cuaght there, them things paws are bigger than your head.. and there they are being soft..
