The Brussels Lace Moth, widely distributed in Scotland, is , as far as I am aware, less common elsewhere in the U.K.
It's a slide copy from a few years back possibly taken with an Olympus OM2n with a 135mm lens.
This particular moth inhabits woodlands feeds, not on foliage and plant shoots, but on lichens.
