Introduced the colour to mine in one of two ways. Either use the WB set to flourescent to get blue. Or use a glass dish and put some coloured paper underneath.

The colliding ones are "simply" a matter of getting one drop to hit the previous one as it rise back out of the water. I use a gravity feed system, but it isn't controllable enough. Need a fluid dynamics engineer as a best friend I think
