I think that this shaped splash looks like a crown.

This is photo of a water splash using a shutterspeed of 1/1000, and an aperture of f16. I used 3 flash guns all pointing directly at the splash, which was is a bowl full to the brim with water. It took a number of different positions to get the composition right, and loads of tries to get the timing and splash shape interesting.

a wonderful image - great in every aspect - your handling of the light and tones, composition, sharpness and of course the great idea for this image - definitely worth the effort taken to achieve this brilliant result

i like to hear photographers that put in the time and effort rather than just snapping a quick capture and being done with it
