Buzzard, Blashford Lakes

Made a mess of this one and count myself lucky I got this shot. I hang my head in shame as a keen wildlife photographer. He was heading right at me at about 25ft up front lit in strong sun and I missed focus and acquired some background instead. Next there was a lot of swearing and fumbling around frantically to get the range right to get help the focus lock on and was so distracted by that problem I didn't up my shutter speed. Blush
Did me good to be humbled. More practice with the local seagulls is needed I think and I'll be more ready and methodical next time.

Interesting recount, still makes for a wonderful shot ..... we all learn through our own errors, its life after all.
