The Golden Fleece

By Crazylegs
Another from the same field, this bee's pollen covering amazed and intrigued me. When you see a bee it inevitably has some sort of pollen attached somewhere on its body doesn't it. It makes me wonder how the bee feels about it. Does it even notice? I would think it does, I mean take those big pollen sacks you see sticking to a leg, that's got to get on your nerves.
On the other hand, nature works in wonderful ways. As it is necessary for bees to become pollen carriers, maybe its something that they get a kick out of somehow. Maybe they like it. Maybe its a status symbol. Check out the size of my pollen sack!
Well if that's the case, this fella's gonna get major respect for his gold dust suit!

Hi Kristian.A great close up and love that the bee is lathered in pollen! Love the description (and your theory about the size of their pollen sacks!)
