A great shot, nice lighting and detail. I would say that his/her face is a tad tad dark - but I'm being super picky Smile

Im so used to being called Brain lol ask QuestforQuality lol. Im sure ive been called alot worse. And yes probably quiet due to the nice weather ive only just got back from the garden centre buying bird seed and that. Try and attact some birds into the garden rather than pidgeons for a change lol

Lovely image with good dof

Simple but effective comp. The bg really makes the Coal Tit stand out and the colour really works to enhance the image. Beautiful detail and superbly sharp.

Super image and I do like the lichen covered branch, I think it adds something extra.

Thanks all.

Off to Gigrin in a bit. I know they don't feed until 3pm, but I have two regular stop off points on the way which make the journey worthwhile in ways other than photography. Smile

Nah, nothing like that Richard, but a good garden centre which has mealworms half price of my local stores, 400g for under a tenner! And then for lunch a stop at The Halt, which is about 3 miles past Gigrin. Well worth a visit.

Grin

hope you took the dof out on the leaf Wink
