Doh!

By csurry
Nice though a robin is, the doh is for the long-tailed tits that were frequenting the garden when I returned from a short trip out.

They always do this to me. They only ever stay in the garden for a few moments at a time and never when the camera is set up. Still they will be a challenge for tomorrow.

Thanks to Pete for the EC on solar flares. Did not expect it to attract many views as the thumbnail is quite strange and it takes while to work out that it is a milky water drop collision from above.

I don't care how many robins I see, I love them. This is an amazing shot many congratulations. I have a pair dancing around the garden slightly on speed. I wish I could speak bird and ask them to sit still for 20 seconds. Again great shot!

Counted five Robins this morning, around the feeding station.

The L-t.t's usually turn up around noon, The main reason I stuck it out in the freezing cold. Sure enough they did.
Trouble was. there was a gang of about 14.
Always in each others way for a half decent shot & my fault for not having enough perch area available.
Ah well.
As you say, always tomorrow Smile

A wonderful Robin shot Cheryl! The birds that you want to land never do, until you go indoors or something! Superb

Thanks all.

Thanks Fraser for the GEA.

I don't have anything else that I have to do this morning so I shall be on the lookout for the LTTs. Now what's the betting that they don't show?
