No not a baby kingfisher. I am convinced that no one will guess unless they talk with the only other person that knows.

Perch was carefully chosen by Mark Hancox in this instance as the birds had been squabbling earlier in the day so chose a longer perch in the hope that they may face off, but never imagined that they would do this. Well I didn't anyway.

There was a programme on tv about a cameraman and his passion for filming kingfishers last night, a piece of footage showed 2 kingfishers fighting just like this and fighting to the death which suprised me by drowning in the water, altho in the clip I saw a minx Crept up and killed the "victor".
