Settings: ISO 1600, 1/800th @ f/5.6

Thanks all. Hard to fail with such a photogenic subject. The only issue was that generally when the light was perfect, subtle yet plenty of it generally the birds did not dive. They tended to dive early in the sessions when a high ISO was required.

These are superb images and show something few of us ever see. I'm curious about the backgrounds though as they look too good to be true. Just wondered if they are manipulated?

This background is simply created by the colour of the early morning light. Only manipulation was to clone out the reflection of a post, which was extremely distracting, but I knew that when I took it.
