Introduction (or re-acquaintance)

By csurry
Thought I'd start with a nice simple one.

Managed to get an internet connection of sorts today, though only on the netbook.

No more snow though some is forecast for tonight and Friday. Depending on how much snow there is overnight will determine if I do a raptor shoot with Wildarena, to which I was invited even though I am not holidaying with them or back to the squirrel hide. Road is looking quite icy so the squirrels (and cresties hopefully) may yet win out rather than the 30 mile round trip to the falconry site.

No photography today in the hides as a group are in, but that's OK as I had some jobs to catch up with on the laptop.

Internet connection is holding up, but is sporadic.

I gotta get one of these in the frame,I have been saying that for a couple of years now Sad
I have a nice brand new Tom-Tom thingy so I should be able to go a little further afield without the white-knuckle ride not knowing which direction to point the car in.
Good luck with your trip,I hope you get what you want in the lens.

Thanks all.

Ah Janet there are 2 vacant rooms in the cottage as well Sad

About to head on to the road to test conditions for getting to the falconry shoot.

Squirrels...Falconry...Squirrels...Falconry...tough call, but if I can safely make it to Aviemore and beyond, I think it will be the falcnory as I still have 2 days I can photograph the squirrels in relative peace.
