Thanks all.

Taken me a while to get motivated to start again with these. Experimenting with different water properties. Which I had done before, but now trying to be more scientific about it. Hopefully that will mean that the results are more "predictable"

Now I need to get out and take some wildlife shots!

Just decided to take a bit of a break from photography for the last 3-4 months. Has it helped? Only time will tell.

Hi Cheryl
Nice colors, try using some Guar Gum (it is a thickening agent for food, white powder), it thickens the water that you drop into and gives a higher spout.
I am working with it at the moment, and getting good height.

Thanks all. Will be posting more often once we get in to spring as I have some indoor and outdoor projects planned.

Thanks Allan

Already have some and was playing with bubble liquid to reduce surface tension in the pool of water - which seems to give a nice effect in the crown.

Yeah, photography taken a bit of a back seat since November. However, the desire to get out and take some photos, and more importantly actually look at them and potentially process them has returned. I took some shots last year that I have not looked at yet! Which is not good.

Sometimes you just need a complete break and now that I have had that time to move on. Rejoined e2 just before my 10 year anniversary. Won't be at Focus, but that's because I'll actually be doing some photography.
