Two nice images.
The bear looks really fit and not one to argue with.
Both images are very well caught. Smile

two good shots well caught
Great, mayby some cropping on the right to get the bear out of the center? Nice soft light.

So how do they know it's not a spy dressed as a Bear ???
Lovely image with nice light.

Thanks all.

This is the composition I wanted as the point was to show some foliage. Photographic rules should only be treated as guidelines and in this instance for me losing the foliage from the right would lose the point on the image. Yesterdays image conformed to the rules because the bears pose suited the composition, but for me todays does not.

Chris, funny thing was we thought this may all be a hoax and at the end of the week the bears would undress to reveal their human side Wink

Theres nothing wrong with the comp Cheryl - The heads on the 1/3ds as is the tree which adds context, as does the foliage which helps frame it. Stunning capture as always.

Hi Cheryl
All with this about rules when it comes to real wildlife it goes out the window when you are set up in hides like this you have time
to do more composition in your shot same at bird of prey centres
but with this shot of the bear I would have waited for a better shot
hope you dont mind me saying my comments

A cracking shot - it shows a wild animal in natural habitat extremely well and the habitat is subtle and complimentary rather that overpowering - for me this gets a huge thumbs up - and by the way I won't want to stop him and ask for a passport Wink - Ina
