Thanks all.

Thanks Dean, been a long tme between photographic opportunities this year, but doing some extra work means I have time planned off later in the year for some special trips.

Nope did not make it to Skomer, the days I was going to go it was going to be really windy. Having seen MikeRCs experience of only getting on the islands for a couple of hours I may have felt it was a wasted drive.

I am off to the Farnes for a couple of days as part of next weeks adventure.

Maybe next year for Skomer.

On the "shopping" list:
other sea birds
many small bird species
and maybe red squirrels if the opportunity presents itself

Ooh and stop off and pay for my trip to Finland later this year. Paying the last bit of the money makes it seem more real.

Another beauty Cheryl, your shopping list looks full. You have said about a trip to Finland later this year. I'm off there two weeks time to photograph Bears. If I can be of any assistance regarding Finland, drop me a line. Ron.

Thanks all.

Bears for me also Ron, but I decided to do a slightly later trip in the hope that the wolves and wolverines and more active and the midges less so Wink

Try not to get eaten! By the midges mainly.
