Just grabbed the camera when I heard the rumble aproaching! They were doing thier display for the Isle of Wight Music Festival, some distance away from my back garden.

A well captured image. You don't always get this angle at air displays, depends on exactly where you happen to be so looks like you were in the right place at the right time.
Just wondering if this was a crop or not, as the image looks noisy even for a 500 px image.

It is quite a tight crop from the original, I did unfortunatly miss the top of the trails when I took the shot. The festival site is probably 1 to 1.5 miles away from where I was stood in my back garden.

I liked this shot as shows the movement and power of the planes.

Great effort! Really good capture, and you should be very happy with this - you may not have got the very top of the trails but the planes themselves are sharp and thats the main thing! >click< Adam
