Quote:Great! My favourite ship. I love everything about it, even Nelson's commodeSmile. Detail like this is my favourite way of photographing it. I recognised it straight away.
I'm not keen on its re-paint colour.

    Thanks, much appreciated.
Regarding the colour, we were told that extensive research had been undertaken regarding the colour and that scans had been taken from original paint to achieve this. I have seen a YouTube video to endorse this. The restoration team are confident that this is what the ship would have looked like in Nelsons day. They are working on the masts and rigging and hopefully it will be fully restored in the next few years. I'll be paying another visit when all complete.

Very sad indeed with almost no chance of escape for the unfortunate victims. You have captured a great series of images.

  • The quality of these images is just superb. I've tried taking pics of birds in flight but failed miserably to obtain sharp focus. Very jealous!!

  • Your portfolio is utterly breathtaking. I adore the cat shots particularly. Magic stuff.
  • There is a lovely style to your portraiture work with great use of colour. Excellent work throughout. Which setting you you prefer on the 5D, i.e. neutral, faithful etc?
