Delphinium Revisited

By cymru2019
In the midst of Covid and Storm Christoph here in the North West, staying indoors for two reasons, I decided to rework a photo that I took three years ago, trying some creativity in Topaz Studio 2. To my friends on EPZ this has been a week of deep reflection for me. No one who saw that senior mortician at the Royal London Hospital who broke down when interviewed could be other than deeply moved. As a grown man old enough certainly to be her father I shed tears too. We are afflicted with two severe pandemics here in the UK, the spiritual and the coronavirus. The spiritual because as a nation we have moved away from our Father God who loves and cares for us deeply, who longs for us to bring everything to him in prayer, including repentance and asking Him for forgiveness through the work of Christ on the cross for our sins. And then asking Him to help us because quite frankly however hard we try this virus is beyond us as humans and if only we would ask for His intervention. David

Beautiful flowers on this plant captured. Even I have prayed to God and as you know I am not that religious. Not just for me but for everyone. Lets hope he hears. Debs

The Lord is against those who are just religious in name only. Jesus wants a daily loving relationship with us. Keep praying and keep asking. David

Nice soft pastel colours, and I like the thin portrait format, to concentrate all the interest on the flower.

A beautiful photo David. Not being a Brit, I have no idea who you are referring to....and as a lifetime, Jewish atheist....I respect you having your beliefs....not a place I ever go.
