This picture is an adjustment, a bit more glow added, to a recent upload. The reason for uploading this version is to pay a tribute to Sara Penwarden whose death has come as a shock. Unknown to me Sara had been battling with cancer. I met her whilst she was the manageress of Wilkinson Cameras in Southport. My daughter and family lived there for ten years and a visit to Wilkinsons was always on the cards. Whilst all staff at their shops were extremely helpful Sara stood out. Her knowledge of photography and the photography market was truly outstanding. She had a lovely personality and humour to match. But above all her interaction with customers went beyond the call of duty. At times I would telephone her from my home in Cheshire and say I could not understand why I was not getting the results I was desiring on shots. Without fail she would ask me to come in on a day when she was in the shop with a memory stick with my " offending shots." Then when I went into the shop she would go through camera and / or lens settings looking at my shots and explaining to me what I needed to do in the future. Sara was an exceptional person and exceptional in her line of work. I appreciate not many EPZERS will have met Sara, but those of you in the North West of England may have come across her. I am not asking for comments as such. It's just one way of my expressing thanks to her even though I know, reluctantly I will never see her n planet earth again.
