Bee foraging - Eucera longicornis

By czech
I seem to have been getting into bees just recently - I took this shot yesterday at London Wetlands Centre. There are many different species of bees, which can make identification a challenge - I think this one may be Eucera longicornis.

Thanks Mark! This was my first experience using a 'close-up' lens, screwed onto my 100-400 mm lens. Some people seem to be anti this type of lens, but I'm pleased with the results.
