Privet Hawkmoth

Not the nicest of days today, so decided to photograph one of the Privet Hawkmoths that we trapped last night. Always a favourite of mine, and one of Britains largest native moths which makes it even more special.

Beautiful specimen Fran - love the pink markings-super shot.
I think your logo is a bit distracting though.

That is also one of my favourite night time fliers. They are truly spectacular.
