The unknown flower

By daiprice
Hi All,
First serious attempt at using my old 50mm OM macro on an E-300 DSLR.
I'm pleased with the result, but have no idea what the plant is, can anyone help?
Flower head is 1-2 cm across, taken on the cliff top between St Govans and Stack Rocks in Pembrokeshire today.

Sorry, I can't help you identify this plant, but I know a beautiful one when I see one. The colours are really beautiful and the details are superb. Well done and presented. Clicked.

An exelent macro shot that is well focused and you have caught the texture on the pettals very well. Without seeing the rest of the plant and how tall it is, it is not easy to identify with certainty. It looks like Spring Squill,(A relative of the Lilly family)don't count on it,I could be wrong though.

Thanks for the comments all.
Frank, I think your right. its about 5cm high, and a google on 'spring Squill' gave me some pictures that look very much like it.
Thanks very much
