Thanks K, got it - 'recent activity and stats'. I'm still fumbling around the system.

K, what's the ephotozine link next to your name?

Since I've changed to e2 I've found that if I make a mistake and upload the wrong photograph for a competition (or even change my mind!) I can't seem to remove it.AlsoI can't sseem to view what I've already submitted like I used to be able to, on the 'freeby' porfiolio. Have I just not found the right link or is this truely the case? I've just uploaded the wrong pic, purely by accident, so have hance already?

(I may well be asking a question that's already been answered before, but I've found doing a search hasn't helped on this one.If so can I be linked up to that thread please.)

I hope I'm not being dense but how do you sort by descending no. of clicks. I can't find that option, or are you talking about the showcase?

Yesterday, I uploaded a shot Boys! taken with my Nikon Coolpix 5700, and commented on it that I find the camera has a delay when using it in the studio.I have a set up using a IR transmitter to set off the flashes, but find that on pressing the button it takes about 2-3 seconds before it takes the shot, so those fabulous expressions are lost. I had a number of really helpful suggestions, (thankyou!), all recommending a Canon EOS 20. Does anyone have any further views or any experience of similar problems? I'd really like to hear.

So how does this virtual party thing work? Do we need a start time and a chuck-out (or up) time? How did the one last time work ?

Oh, I love Merl's comment about always wearing red nickers! LOL!!

Steffi, it's just a knock. Don't give up on something you enjoy, and that gives so much pleasure to others too. I'd just like to say that you've been a real support to me with your comments and advice, that I have missed over the last week or so. It's a competitive world and we've all got to eat though. But keep at it!

Nice to know you're still with us! Sorry, I don't have a Granny but I think she would have liked it even so. Are we not normal??! Good work doing it for charity.

  • Commented on 'Would you consider buying this?'

Well, my personal thoughts are that as you've had such a good responce to this shot, why shouldn't anyone want to buy it? Try something different from chocolate boxes and see what responce you get. If it's for a good cause as well I'm sure people will buy. Oh, that doesn't sound too encouraging, what I mean is a good image and a good cause, no doubt you'll sell and sell.

  • Commented on 'Pet Photography'

    I've been asked to take a selection of photos of a friend's 2 dogs(that don't get on apparently),as a present for a relative.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a pet photographer who has a gallery online, so I can get some ideas, or does anyone have any helpful advice.
I was thinking of photographing them under studio conditions and cut+pasting them together, to avoid a fight. And then taking some shots out in the fields. Any advice gratefully received.

    Nice idea Ceri.
My son wants to be a super skateboarder, being able to jump any ramp, skyscraper or canyon in his way and help any mere mortal in need. He's got a long way to go to perfect his skills though. Keep trying!

This weekend I went to see the film the Incredibles with my children. If you haven't seen it yet , a number of the characters have super powers ranging from being elastic and being able to convert themselves into a parachute and able stretch their arms to all lengths, super strong, going invisible on command, super-fast runner etc.

If you were a super hero what power/s would you choose and how could they help to good of the human race or just yourself!

To start the ball rolling I'd have extrasensory powers to locate any lost object anywhere in the world, as I'm always loosing my keys. Over to you..
