Pesky fly in this case, however, be thankful for flies. We used to have all kinds of flying insects years ago. I notice so few these
days and wonder how the swallows and martins stay alive. Monsanto has been too effective. Their nicotinoids have killed off many
millions of honey bees. Some orchards in parts of China must be hand pollinated by hand labour using bamboo sticks and feathers.

That poor wee fledgling looks quite woebegone, a bit like myself this morning although I don't have a pesky critter on my the back of my neck (as far as I know).
