Taken on a recent trip to Paynesville in East Gippsland on a visit to our sister in law after some of the major fires had gone through her and neighbouring properties , Paynesville was out of the fire zone but has been badly affected by lack of tourism which is the main income for the area. There is now a campaign to get tourists to come and visit and spend some time and many in many of these areas , but in some places the fire season is not yet over.
Not had much time after being away as trying to catch up with our workload.
V1 shows a wider shot with the smoke in the background on the horizon that looks like mist.

Many thanks to all for viewing , voting and any comments given , all are greatly appreciated as is the generous UA on my last upload Smile

Both GREAT!! Ian, But the main one gets my award, due to it being cropped and therefore more vibrant in my view.

On the face of it a lovely tranquil scene, but times have been hard... hopefully the future will be bright 😁

This is a difficult one, V1 tells me more about the image. Version is a boat plus reflection, both nice but personally prefer V1.

Two fine reflective shots here, Ian, but the lead has to be the winner for me! 😀👍

Two superb, well detailed captures, Ian.
Wonderful reflections and well composed images.
I hope the fires start to abate soon - such devastation in so many respects.

A great picture, Ian. Normally I like lots of detail and context in an image but the singular focus on the boat and reflection, and the processing for warm light, make the lead a winner for me. I hope your sister's property was not affected by the fire. I'm planning a a long holiday in some of the fire ravaged regions later in the year when maybe the initial impetus to assist will be waning.
Cheers,
Bob
