A Window Through the Weather

By DalesLass
Sitting on the top of Helm Crag last week I could see the rain on its way. The clouds reached me a short while before it, clearing very briefly to provide a little window over to the hills around Rydal to the countryside beyond. It felt quite magical.

Many thanks for looking,

Jude

Darned rain robbing us of that view.
I love the way the f/g is clear.
You'll just need to go there again and let us se it at it's best.

Now there's an idea! Though I did manage to slip on wet rock on the way down ending up in A&E with a cut on my face and a few bruises to go with it - so I'll have to make sure I take more care next time!

Lovely job, shows the Lake District off superbly
Nice to have sunshine but this shows the ruggedness much better

I don't think I've been up Helm Crag, but this is a scene I've seen many a time... or rather not seen through the drizzle and mist TongueGrinGrin
Atmospheric and beautiful in its own way, Jude.
