Hebridean Hideaway

By dalischone
Taken near Uig on the Isle of Lewis. This is one from the archives. Looking out over Loch Hamanvay with the Isle of Scarp just visible at the mouth of the sea loch. You can see a small boat heading out to a small cottage on the coastline. It was such a beautiful place and holds so many wonderful memories for me. We had 50,000 acres of estate to roam, all to ourselves!!! The only way we could get to our lodge was a mountain track which the estate put in. We were miles from civilisation and I loved every minute of it!

Thanks for looking.

Hello Tracy, nice to hear from you, firstly may Louise and I wish you and your loved ones a happy and healthy new year...I love the remote isolation of the west of Scotland, for me it has a magnetic pull...beautiful sky to crown the twilight magic of your scene.
