This pretty little bird was sitting on our verandah on the weekend and stayed around for a good 15mins, not at all bothered by us.

Nice sharp shot, however as jk said a larger aperture would have blurred the back ground more providing more impact. A little catch light in his or her eye would have helped also.

A good bird portrait, and putting catchlights in the eye in your imaging sofware would have given this greater impact.
