Beautifully captured light, Damien. This is making me wish I had found the time to visit the place!
Thanks for your comment on my Saltwick Bay upload. It's not an easy place to find. If you're heading north towards Whitby, there's a small country road to the right - just as you're approaching Whitby - with a signpost directing you to a caravan site. The road itself takes you up to one caravan site, which you ignore and drive past. Shortly after that, there's another road to the right, again signposting you to a caravan/holiday home site, and you need to take that road. This is a dead end road that leads to the aforementioned, rather unattractive holiday site. Saltwick Bay lies at the foot of a cliff just below that holiday site.
All being well, this should help.
The place is a must! One of the most remarkable landscapes I've ever seen.

beautiful looking photograph - i really like the balance of light that creates a wonderful atmosphere. the shadow area is exposed at a good level to see the details while the area of sunlight really makes that part jump out.
keep up the great work.
i really want to do landscape photos when i finally get my 350D or 1Ds mkII and want to use filters such as ND's and a polariser, shall have to ask your advice nearer the time so i can get the great atmosphere of many of the images on epz.
