A verry intresting photo of a verry delicate subject. I've uploaded 3 mods, just for you to look at Smile
mod 1 - I moved the smilies so that they dont distract from the image, cloned out 2 bright spots, and but a boarder around the image, I'm not sure if the boarder adds anything, just personal preferance
mod 2 - Same as above, only i made it black and white to just remove the little color there is.
mod 3 - same as mod 1 only with a slight blue tint to it, I'm not sure why, but i think it looks good with a blue tint

Thankyou Focus_man, I'd not thought of using Topaz to enhance the image more, good idea Smile

and photomorph, Good work, again, I like it But I'd left the leaf litter in because i personally felt it added a little more naturalism to the photo. But each to each's own I guess. And the black and white, very effective Grin

Quote:I love the composition and light but the dynamic range is very wide here and most cameras would have difficulty with this exposure - this would have been a good subject for HDR I think. A

Thankyou, And yes I agree, This would be an ideal subject for a HDR. I intend to go back next time I have a free day from uni to take several shots at diffrent exposure's. I have also found that by doing a quite exstream levels in photoshop I can bring out a LOT more detail in the sky, but detail is lost in the shadows. That said, I'm going to see what I can do. I'll post a modification later.
