A fine composition, Dan, what a very regal building, well captured. Carol

Love the way you've composed this Danny, the castle as a part of its surroundings.

Not taken this morning, I rather think!
An organic whole, as Moira suggests; superb colour and atmosphere.

A lovely composition and of course the fluffy clouds help immensely.

I knew this Featherstone rang a bell with me Danny.
Have they not got a prison there ?
I doubt it would be as grand looking as this though.
But who would complain with all that free board and lodgings the prisoners get ?
It is not all bad being a prisoner.
At least they get peace to watch the footie on the telly, without the missus disturbing you with her hoovering !!
Good shot.

Quote:A totally different perspective. Very good Bill.

Sorry this should have been attributed to an image by Woolybill this morning.
Well framed Danny, I like the way the castle is part of the image and not just on it's own. good tones nice detail

Beautiful capture Dan. The castle looks snug in its setting, and I really like the second tree in at top left, looks like it has a gigantic butterfly atop it ... Carol Grin

Don't know what's more imposing, the house or the tree! Both together make a grand picture!
