Danny this is wonderful. All that emptiness, and the huge weight of sky above. Classic.

An inspirational piece of photography, which from your well chosen point of view, and a little help from your Wide Angled Lens, you have managed to capture on of the most appealing images. Simply quite beautiful.

Quote:...why John and his family still farm in the traditional way.

Why not? Simple answer.Smile Just think of the satisfaction of working together with those magnificent horses. Man and nature together.

I fear that here in Scotland Danny, old farming traditions are being lost.
There are too many farmers ''selling out'' to these providers of energy companies
who install these unsightly wind turbines in their fields.
I suppose times can be hard for some though, and a few extra noughts on their bank balance will not go amiss !!
Good traditional shot.

Something to look at and admire! Excellent image Danny!
Must make up a little for the long hours and back breaking toil of working on a farm of any kind.

Great use of the new toy Danny, well done.

A magnificent reward for a backbreaking job often in terrible conditions - a great composition and stunning , all I saw today were clouds of dust and mechanized beast harvesting the crops ... Carol Grin
