Yes Dave,it is the posh folk that do the Grouse shooting,us poor folk do Haggis shooting instead.Not so much shooting really as Haggis do not fly.They roll along the ground and we spear them with a pitch fork.It is not recommended to pursue this sport after having a few drams.It has been known that after the hunt there is a good number of hedgehogs to be seen speared instead.There is also a constant stream of casualties to be seen at the infirmary with pitch fork holes in their feet.It is a much dangerous sport than Grouse shooting I reckon.

I think you are having us on Mick. I don.t think there is still the sport of Haggis Hunting.I think this was stopped when one of the haggis ran up the kilt of a braw scotsman and some silly sod still tried to spear it with his garden fork. Unfortunately health and safety banned it and now it's gone underground. Fork 'n' Haggis the not so well known sport.
