Trudging through the winter snow, heads bowed at the thought of having to be off to work under these conditions: such a stark image that reflects the weather and the diagonal makes such an attractive composition visually.

I had the title even before I opened the upload.
That falling diagonal makes the shot. The day just goes downhill from here...
Nice bag.

I never knew you had access to the top floor of Haltwhistle Castle, Danny. It offers a wonderful view over the Market Place Wink

Lovely diagonal composition.

I can think of no better quote Danny,

Hi Ho, Hi Ho...

being retired I miss the daily dance.

Dougie

Looking for the colour version I recalled Danny, I had a wonderful wander through one of the best and most diverse folio's on EPZ, From sporting action, horses, dugs jumping dry stane dykes, industrial portraits and of course that Roman Wall.
Well worth a visit here if you don't know it or even if you think you do.

Well you have really phissed me orf now, my boy.Sad Middle of the season commonly known as summer (not that it has appeared yet) and you come up with a winter scene just to remind me and all the others here what we have to "look forward to" in a few short months.
Really! It's not cricket old boy. Where's your sense of whatever it is?

Bloody good downward diagonal and OK title.TongueTongueGrinGrinGrinGrin

The use of selective colouring to highlight the bag was a magic touch. An image that reminds us of the harshness of winter, lest we should forget!
