Excellent focus on the pheasant and defocus of the background, tremendous coloour. I ilke the hint of a frame supplied by the o/o/f twigs and branches.
He is looking back over the series - I'm sure he appreciated it all.
Like all pheasants he appears to have a reversible head, no doubt a recent development evolved since the invention of the shotgun and the Springer Spaniel.
I wonder if pheasants will ever evolve a way of avoiding the traffic on the A69?

Bill has summarised things so well about this shot, Danny: I go along with his comments.
Such beautiful birds, we protect some species and we allow others to be shot for game, then we expect them all to obey the highway code when we rarely do.

Nice series Danny you did the Pheasant proud.

A superb shot - detail in the plumage so good, and the is also very good. I like the inclusion of the background to set the bird in its habitat.
