This is an excellent composition Danny - I love the way the eye is carried along the length of the wall. A beautiful shot.

Impressive composition with a good foreground and the wall is a fine lead through the image. I do wonder however if it might be more effective in B & W.

albert, I have it in every colour you could think of but I can only effectively show one version and most people are sick of it anyway.

Well, I'm not sick of it even though it makes me feel physically cold - and V2 looks even colder! This is one of your best compositions, perhaps even the best, cold or warm, rain or dry, windy or calm (okay, most likely to be raining and windy up there Smile) All the essentials fit perfectly into that square frame. I shall never tire of this one, Danny.

Very contained feel to this one, the twist in the wall's line fitted in above those wonderful snowy rocks. Square works!
Thanks for your comment on my upload, I've put a response - I guess I was looking for the opposite effect to this, like including a high sky above this scene. I will add a third version for you though.

How bleak and cold and beautiful. What a fine area of the country you have to appreciate.

To little contrast for the B/W so I prefer V1

I like both, but fopr the mono, I would like to see just a tad more contrast - yes, that's me: more contrast please! Smile
The colour version is my preference here though - I like how the snow has not totally covered everything, and colour is showing through the white.

Fond memories of the day we stood here together Danny, seems like yesterday, but it was a deal warmer than this.

Love this Dan. Thought it was one of yours when I saw the thumbnail in the stream a few days ago - but didn't get round to commenting. Superb work.
