The building looks like a rather elaborate wood carving. Good placement of figure. Smile

Excellent composition despite frozen hands. The winter looks suitably bitter.

No Chris the building is elaborate stone carving. Very ornate.

This is a beautifully crafted composition, juxtaposing the smallness of the figure with the gigantic structure....there is some poetic truth here.

The church is beautiful but it doesn't look inviting. Very bleak and cold mood. I feel sad for the lonely person.....Sandy

Great snowflakes and positioning of the figure
It might have been cheerier inside Danny, but I doubt you ventured in.

A beautiful building. Did you take any close ups of the carving? or were your fingers too frozen?Grin

Yes I did and yes they were. I also got hopelessly lost and was an hour late meeting my wife. For some reason she was not too pleased.

Superbly atmospheric Danny and I love the figure being dwarfed by that huge building.

Great image, Dan, and what a shame to walk past rather than in, if the outside is anything to go b, it must be a wonderful sight inside ... Carol Grin
