I find this very moving - something about old hands still working at their trade is very special to me. An excellent shot Danny and I'm looking forward to more in this series.

This is a pictutre that oozes calm, Dan. I can't put my finger on why, but it's how I se it. The calm concentration of a master plying his trade, perhaps?.
Excellent light.

My Great Grandfather was a compositor in the Edinburgh Evening News some 150 years ago, my Grandmother used to take his lunch to him and eventually joined him at work some years later as a putter upper, I suppose a type setter or there abouts.
I never met my Great Grandfather but I do recall my Grandmother's hands being stained I think by the lead which she would have handled.

Brings nback personal memories of family and also my own love for Black & White photography,this is another excellent example.
