It's a really nice shot, but I hadn't realised that they'd moved the Sage across the river from Gateshead! Wink

This works very well; the colour suggests a much brighter scene than it actually was, and the reflection has removed the harsh lines dividing the glazed panels. The building looks better like this!

The Sage was in Gateshead the reflection was in the Newcastle side of the water.

Love the way this makes the place look much brighter than it actually is. Love the raindrops too. Well the ones on the screen, anyway.

Excelent reflection Danny, is this in the puddle or the Tyne? I'm thinking the puddle.

Andrew,it was immediately over the water from the Sage on the Newcastle side. There were a couple of ships moored on the Tyne immediately below and I cropped those off. It was the tyne and not a puddle. Your father is the puddle reflection expert although he is an expert at everything..........he says.

Here was I thinking what a lovely abstract, and I stumble on a bunch of geordies arguing over who owns the sage, its reflection and I suppose the Tyne too.
Oh well - it's still a great shot.

Excellent abstract Danny, well seen! Does it really matter which side of the Tyne the reflections was? Oh my Geordie...!
