I still prefer what you managed in V1, the golden sky and light. This is a tree that fascinated me when I first spotted it a few years ago Danny, lucky you to be so close.
The full frame sensor has a larger charged area to attract dust and your beloved 24-105mm sucks in the dust as you zoom.
You just have to try not to change lens too often outside and always switch the camera off first. I know you know that, but not everybody remembers.

Of course I know that Dougie but never do it. Thank you.

The great thing with rust Danny is that no one notices the dust spots.I have a spot in my G11 which I was suprised too see as it is a fixed lens.I presume it got there with zooming the lens in and out.As it is still under warranty I suppose I could send it back to be cleaned. But you only see it on a blue sky or light colour, and you will know you do not see many blue skys or light colours on my shots,so it is not really a problem for me.And talking about the G11,how are you getting on with your one ?

Not too well. I seem to knock buttons when I am carrying it and it is always on the wrong setting.

Fantastic image and glorious golden light...shortlisted.
A little niggle though...did you get any with a slightly different comp.
I keep thinking the tree needs to be more to the left so if you could have moved around to the right this would happen and also put the lightest part behind the branches.

Thank you Keith. In theory you are correct but if one moves to the right you cannot get the base of the tree in and you end up with a poor background.
