Amazing photo, you must have a great camera.

Escape by rontear

THis is exceptional, wish i had taken it.

Very original work.

I've just used my award, otherwise this would get it.

As good as anything that I can recall seeing on ephotozine.

Well done...

I like this a lot. My only suggestion might be to consider cropping the right side slightly so you can't see the street behind. Either way it's a very interesting image

Blinding LIght

Blinding LIght by AndyD999

I think it needs a focal point. Perhaps something stuck on the wall etc.

It would be interesting to see the same image shot at f11 or similar so the there was more depth of field

The Colours of Spring

The Colours of Spring by BydoR9

Very good image

Steps by Apurva

I haven't read any of the other critiques. It makes a great thumbnail image. The colours and lines are very strong. My two comments would be 1) The steps and hand rails are leading the eye up to something, yet the top of the handrails are cropped off. I'd like to have seen just abit more of what's up there.

The other thing was that whilst the steps are horizontal, the verticals at the top are not. As this image is all about lines I wonder if taking the image from a few inches to the right (ie in the middle of the stairwell) would have 'straightened' the Image up slightly? photoshop's transform tool would also be able to do the same thing as well.

Arrival by deegeephoto

I think the motion blur is spot on and don't think it needs flipping.

I don't think it needs as much (if any) toning, or the border though.. The only other thing I'd change would be just a little more room on the LHS of the image - there's a lot of symmetry in the image and it'd be nice if either edge was symmetrical As well.

Hartland Quay Mono

Hartland Quay Mono by derekhansen

I really like the colour version and viewed this one first. As soon as I saw it I thought that it would look amazing in mono. I think this could be even better without the vignette. I really want to see all the tones and contasts into the corners. The vignette comes in quite along way into the image from the corners which darkens the overall image (although this might just be my iPad screen).

I really think this could be an epic mono image, particularly with the textures in the sky. The exposures are perfectly balanced in both the colour and mono versions. It might not have been the colourful sunset you might have wished for , but I'd take one of these images over a classic sunset view any day...

Real good, the blue shoes make it.

Resting by jimpy1

Nice and sharp. Would be good with a background in it though. I often try and sneak a leaf behind them for the flash to pick up. Might scare him of though.

Outstanding portfolio. I saw a few of your images earlier in the year before I had the "favorites" facility and only came across your portfolio again after todays EC. The images are all the more interesting with the details and text you provide. Excellent work.
