Thin Lizzy - Leeds O2 Academy 0 10th January 2011

By dannyg
This is Ricky Warwick in his role as vocalist for Thin Lizzy. May critics say it can't be Thin Lizzy without Phil Lynott, but Ricky did a tremendous job!

Cracking shot.

How do you find noise on your 50D? I noticed you bumped up the iso to 1600 on this?

I didn't even know Ricky Warwick was with Thin Lizzy!? I remember his days in The Almighty, quite different material to Lizzy...

Hi Al, it's very good. I know some of my fellow togs as scarde of shooting with an ISO higher than 800 ish, but i don't tend to shoot any lower than get it sometimes in the deep blue areas, but other than that it's not bad!

Hi Chris, I know Ricky a bit and first shot them as The Almighty in Sheffield many years ago and have since shot them a couple of times more before they finally dispanded. Have a look at my flickr page for more of Thin Lizzy and of the Almighty too!

Some good pics on there, Danny. I'll have a better look when I've got a bit of time.

I noticed Mike Portnoy playing with Avenged Sevenfold too. Dream Theater are my favourite band... sad to see him leave last year, and AS haven't even recruited him as their full time drummer either! So he's out of work for the time being Sad

Keep up the good work!

Yeah, shortly after Avenged's tour finished he left them officially too...that guys has one large drums collection...and he brings it to every show! It was massive!
