I like it very much it appears to be taken back in time.

Thanks for that. I hoped blurring out the audience etc. might achieve that

Nice work, good capture of the action. I'd be inclined to clone or crop out the yellow stand and hoop too, just to keep the focus totally on this dashing knight!

Very nicely done. The blurred background gives a sense of the colours of a Mediaevel audience. I wonder how it would look if you boosted the histogram and levels a bit to give it more "punch"?

(Don't get me wrong - I like it a lot as it is, just thinking about what I may be trying if it were one of my images)

Cheers Brian, but again I am assuming you are referring to photoshop. I have used a basic digital manipulation package which limits the effects I am able to apply. Remember i am still fairly new to this stuff

Super shot Grant....you've realy caugh the action, and retained focus, clarity and sharpness all over....a real 'editorial' shot, the style of which would suit many a mag or paper!

Nicely edited, you have retained all of the essential elements to make it a very viewable, and enjoyable to look at, picture!

Hello Grant, a fine colourful event which you have captured well...I think there is something similar this weekend at Scone Palace...I have been looking at your records of late and see little submissions so get yourself over to Scone, lol.
