Very good freeze-action image of the swan. The perspective is definitely different & well-seen. Nice work...Peter

love the shot, it is very difficult to take a shot like this because sometime it happens within a fraction of second, the exposure is spot on, but my only niggle is that the placement of the subject in the frame is quite unsatisfactory to me, there are not much space at the front rather the space is given on the back, and i guess, you may have tried to show the splash of the water, which also is not completely in the frame, i am also not sure with the space at the foreground water, you may have tried here to include the reflection, resulting the placement of the bird at the upper side of the frame. although you may not have got that chance to correct it, i guess.

wish you best of luck for your future works...

Hello, Darren. I like this a lot, especially the well captured action and dark background. It's almost mono, except for the swan's beak. It's just the composition that I feel could be improved, and with that dark background, it wouldn't be difficult for you to do. In my modification, I added canvas to the top and left, extended some of the water and splashes, adjusted levels to darken the background even further, then cropped some from the right, so that the extra space is in front of and on top of the swan, the direction into which it is going to take off.

this is superb, you really have captured this wonderfully, the water sprays are like thousands of sparkly diamonds!!! the dark background against the pure white swan is perfect.......this is an absolutely cracking shot x x x
