  • Loch Nah-Achlaise

Thanks for all the votes and comments guys. My first upload for a while, and my third highest vote count. May tempt me into upgrading to e2 again, but to be honest I don't see the benefit.

Great shot, I did one similar, again in March. Very jealous you had nice weather, unlike us lot!

  • Storr and Falls

Oh, we visited that in March, but couldn't see the storr due to all the mist and clouds!

Thanks for the detailed critique, and I agree even though it's straight, it doens't look it due to the barrel distortion. I was taken with the cheap 400D kit lens which I've now replaces with a Sigma 18-50 f2.8, so hopefully I won't suffer from that problem.

I was taking photos of the water fountain and trying to freeze the water, I just turned round and she was there, didn't have time to change the ISO.

I'm uploading pics to EPZ chronologically as I work my way through my photos in Lightroom. This was taken in August 08, so I guess I need to upload more regularly in order to catch up!

Col, I'm thinking of putting it into the comp next week... I know it's not brill, but will it do OK? Can it be improved?

Thanks Col, it's based on the ' Dave Hill effect . You basically max out all the basic settings in Lightroom, and some serious curves for added effect.

Great shot, better than my effort!

  • High in the Sky

Col, most of my uploads so far have been from my archives, as I decided to upload them chronologically. All but the seven most recent were taken on a point & shoot!

Just over one... 24th July 2008, and yes it was when he ripped his trousers. Have you seen my previous upload from when we went to Willen lake last summer?

Yeah... I could of easily photoshoped him a new left arm, but not got the time. I need to put up more regularly to 'catch up'
