Vintage Scotsman

A scanned 4x6 image of 60103 Flying Scotsman taken circa 1997 at Wansford on the Nene Valley Railway. At this time the loco was in it's final BR condition - ie Brunswick Green livery, German style smoke deflectors and double chimney.
V2 shows more of the whole loco and shows the corridor tender connection to good effect.

An interesting shot of these queens of rail travel. Great to see they are not all extinct.

Nice images, but I did not know it's number used to be 60103 I have always known it as 4472 well they say you learn something new every day
