Beneath the Wings

By davart
Stopped off to see the Angel on the way out of Newcastle. First time, its really impressive with that immense wingspan. Was looking to do an arty sort of pic, but that proved difficult with lots of people there. A load of people had just arrived after us and I just managed to catch them all orientated in the same direction as the Angel. Underexposed against a bright sky to get the sillo effect on the Angel and most of the people.

Thanks for looking.

I really like the way you've captured the people in this image. Most would have cloned them out, but I think they really add to the shot. Nice work. Smile

A really good image and shows the size of those wings well the people are fine in it too.
I wouldn't mind seeing this same image with a long exposure using a filter as this is one sure way of getting rid of the people and adding some interest in that wonderful sky.
Just a thought that's all.
Not taking anything away from you or your image though just a fleeting thought in my head.
